Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst - Statistics plays a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and decision-making processes of the organization. Leveraging their strong background in mathematics and statistics, they will be responsible for conducting data analysis, forecasting, and developing financial models to facilitate strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform in-depth statistical analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
2. Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenarios to support budgeting, financial planning, and decision-making processes.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
4. Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate complex financial insights to various stakeholders.
5. Conduct financial research and provide recommendations for improving financial performance and profitability.
6. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish benchmarks to track and evaluate financial performance.
7. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
8. Participate in the budgeting process, providing statistical analysis and financial insights to support accurate forecasting.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
3. Proficiency in statistical software/tools such as SAS, R, or Python.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
5. Solid understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
7. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
